Dr. Kristin Miller
General Dentist
Practice limited to children and adolescents
Dr. Kristin Miller considers herself a Midwesterner, although her life and career have taken her to many places around the world. She grew up as an “army brat” and later served four years in the U.S. Army after graduating from Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana in 2001. She earned her undergraduate degree in Business Management and Asian Studies, then chose to pursue dentistry after her military service. Dr. Miller attended the University of Missouri – Kansas City School of Dentistry and graduated in 2011 before making North Carolina her home.
Dr. Miller was first drawn to dentistry because it gave her the opportunity to serve, educate, and support communities with limited access to dental care. She began her dental career in North Wilkesboro, where she treated adults in a public health clinic for nearly seven years. Over time, she shifted her focus to children’s dental health and discovered her true calling. Today, she is passionate about helping young patients build healthy habits early and making the dental office feel welcoming and positive.
Dr. Miller is an active member of the American Dental Association and a Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry. She is deeply involved in organized dentistry at the national, state, and local levels. She has served in several officer roles with the North Carolina Dental Society Districts 1 and 2 and received the Outstanding New Dentist award in 2018. She currently serves as an ADA Delegate for 16 District representing North Carolina, District 2.
Dr. Miller also gives her time to dental outreach efforts in her community and throughout North Carolina, including NCDS Missions of Mercy, Give Kids a Smile, Team Smile, Sandy Ridge Baptist Dental Bus, and the Foothills Veteran’s Standdowns. Outside of dentistry, she enjoys USTA tennis, reading, and spending time with her husband and two young daughters.
